The Original Little Giant Ladder System is four to
five times more durable than typical ladders, and it's built to last.
The Little Giant is made of heavy-wall 6005-T5 aluminum, and while it
possesses a workload capacity of 300 pounds, it has been tested to
withstand four times that amount without structural failure. The Little
Giant replaces different sizes of step ladders, an extension ladder, 2
scaffolding trestles, and a staircase ladder. In fact, it would take
nearly $600 to replace the capabilities of the Little Giant. Even then,
you would still lack the versatility, durability, and storage benefits
incorporated into the Little Giant Ladder System. The Type 1A Little
Giant Ladder is our most popular model and made in the USA. The "Basic" does not include wheels or a triple-lock hinge.

The Little Giant Type 11 is an even lighter duty version of the Alta-One (Type 1) ladders and the Type 1A "Original" Little Giant Ladder. It functions and operates the same as
the Original 1A, only in a lighter rating. If carrying around a heavy
folding ladder is a big concern, then consider the Little Giant Type 11. You won't be
disappointed with this ladder!

The Little Giant Aluminum Skyscraper Stepladder (MXZ) makes short work of tall
orders. It makes replacing lights and performing other ceiling-height
work in auditoriums, gymnasiums and churches a simpler, far less
time-consuming project than expensive and cumbersome scaffolding.
Adjustable in one foot increments, the Little Giant Aluminum Skyscraper
Stepladder (MXZ) extends to the exact height you need. The Little Giant Aluminum Skyscraper Stepladder is made of heavy-wall 6005-T5 aluminum, same as the Classic. The "fold-down"
height, for storage, of the Aluminum Skyscraper (MXZ) is about 1/2 of it's extended stepladder
height, which makes moving through tight hallways and narrow doors a
cinch compared to scaffolding and other large ladders. When you need to reach high stepladder heights up to 21' or more the Aluminum Skyscraper (MXZ) Type 1A two-man, two-sided ladder is the right choice.

The Little Giant Telescoping Plank is available in 11', 15' & 21' - foot sizes. No longer are you
required to carry and use a long, clumsy fixed-length plank. With our
telescoping aluminum planks, you can simply adjust to the exact length
you need. These planks are made heavy wall aluminum to prevent the twisting and flexing common to most other planks. The built-in skid-resistant surface reduces slips. These
planks are also much safer than a wooden plank, due to splits,
knotholes, and other imperfections inherent to wooden planks. OSHA rated as a medium & heavy duty 2
man plank. The plank width is 11" for Models 11' and 15', and 12 3/4" for model 13' and 21'.
